Character:  Sourcing fruit from our premium vineyards in the Padthaway and Barossa region, renowned for growing and producing award-winning wines.  Our wine-making team thinking of the selected parcels from the vineyards to produce this outstanding wine. The region is perfect for Cabernet giving an elegant structure with length and freshness. Violet hues with aromas of rhubarb and quince and savoury mushroom characters. Hints of herbaceous mint and rosemary with a cooler climate influence. Maturation in French oak, silky, integrated tannins. Aromas of sweet spice of cloves & nutmeg. with stewed quince & roasted beetroot on the back palate. A blend that offers fullness with lasting elegance.

95 points from Wine Orbit: It's gorgeously aromatic on the nose, showing crème de cassis, cedar, tobacco, warm spice and potpourri aromas, leading to a concentrated palate offering plush texture together with plump mouthfeel and fine, chalky tannins. Wonderfully flavoursome and opulent with an impressively long velvety finish. A blend of grapes from Padthaway & Barossa Valley. At its best: now to 2030.  Sam Kim, Oct 2023.
