Sieger Estate is part of the stable for Greenock Estate Wines. Sieger is produced as Sieger “Frederick” to pay homage of our owner with other partners in this range which are Sieger “Erbe” meaning Heritage.
Sieger creates part of the destination name for our new Winery/Cellar Door on Siegersdorf Road, Tanunda. completion early 2021.
Siegersdorf Road is located between Tanunda and Nuriootpa named after a village in Prussia and named Siegersdorf in 1975. Sieger means “Winner” for the history of the settles who managed to establish the village at Siegersdorf.
Greenock Estate is proud to be part of the history and heritage of the area and this is represented on this range of wines.
Sieger “Frederick” is our medium tier selection which covers Shiraz – Cabernet Grenache- Mourvèdre (Mataro) which offers affordability, approachability from medium to full bodied style and showcases the Barossa wines at their best.
