The Frederick Grenache is our newest edition to the range. Offering one of Barossa’s most famous varieties. Grenache is rich and vibrant as reflected from the vineyard. Ripe robust vines which deliver the full structure of ripe fruits, in the Grenache. Harvested from vines which were planted in the years 1858, 1903 and 1950. The vineyards where we harvested the Sandy Block Grenache are sandy loam, small deposits of heavier alluvial soils, this combination has added to the softness but ripe forest fruits from the vine. A Grenache that is approachable and easy drinking with balance of tannin and no high hot alcohol characters. Staying true to the variety and delicate harvest at 14 beaume. A wine that will cellar and offer you savory notes with spicy stewed plums and black berries.
