2017 Greenock Estate Wines Single Vineyard Museum Reserve Shiraz

Region: Barossa Valley

Alcohol: 14% ABV

Palate: Full-bodied

Colour: Deep chocolate hues with dark plum jam tones

Character:
A small parcel of premium, hand-picked Shiraz grapes selected by our Winemaker from a single Barossa Valley vineyard. The fruit was destemmed and fermented in small open fermenters, hand-plunged over a 14-day fermentation period. Extended maceration on skins for three months enhanced structure and depth before basket pressing. The wine was then matured in Allier French oak for four years prior to bottling, allowing seamless integration of fruit, oak and tannin.

Tasting Note:
Full-bodied and powerful, displaying bold aromas of rich plum and cedar. The palate is well-rounded and concentrated, with attractive ripe plum, blackberry and spice flavours, leading to a long, persistent finish with excellent balance.
