Characters: Our Single Vineyard BlockSeries each vintage completed with slow, sustainable ripening, producing a seriously full-bodied wine. Made from 70-year-old vines and aged for 22 months in French oak.
Tasting note: Aromas of warm earth, delicatessen notes, spices, redcurrants, raspberries and tobacco leaves. An appealingly creamy texture makes this very much a wine that demands a second glass. Lovely soft tannins and impressive balance. Lingers beautifully. This drinks well now and will do so over the next six to eight years.
