Palate | The Yellow Fish Shiraz is a medium to full bodied Shiraz. The Shiraz offers ripe fruits of plums with hints of cherry & mocha overtones. This Shiraz makes a statement with the full richness of fruit development and show the refection of its origin of deep alluvial soils paying respect to the terroir. Layers of maraschino cherry, plums, and hints of mocha. Soft integrated tannins add balance and structure to the Shiraz.
Characters | Aromas of spice and licorice, sweet berries of raspberry & blue berry. Maturation in oak for 12 months offers soft tannins and hints of vanillin on the nose. Hints of mint and herbaceous characters on the middle palate gives a fresh, firm feel to the Shiraz. Family vineyards are used to source a selection of Shiraz, using hand crafted methods. A shiraz that displays elegant structure and approachability for drinking enjoyment.
